We're recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced M&E Day Technician to join one of Central London's most prestigious ultra high-end residential apartment developments. This is an excellent opportunity for either a mechanically or electrically qualified building services engineer with experience working within luxury residential, 5-star hotels, or other premium hospitality environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across the estate and luxury apartments.
- Maintain a wide range of mechanical and electrical building services systems to the highest standard.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience while working in a resident-facing environment.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs across building services plant and equipment.
- Complete maintenance reports, E-log books, and PPM documentation using digital maintenance systems.
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety legislation and company procedures.
- Liaise professionally with residents, contractors, and the wider site team.
- Support the smooth operation of one of Central London's most exclusive residential developments.
- Participate in overtime opportunities providing engineering cover between 7:00am and 7:00pm when required.
Requirements
- Mechanical or Electrical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent).
- Previous experience working within ultra high-end residential, 5-star hotels, or luxury hospitality environments.
- Strong customer service skills with experience in a resident or client-facing role.
- Experience maintaining building services systems including HIUs, CIUs, FCUs, ventilation systems, heating systems, lighting control systems, TMVs, and kitchen appliances.
- Experience using E-log books and digital CAFM or maintenance management systems.
- Strong IT skills and confidence using digital reporting platforms.
- Excellent fault-finding, communication, and organisational skills.
- Full right to work in the UK.
