Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced HVAP Shift Technician to join a critical engineering team in East London. The successful candidate will have an active HVAP authorisation and a strong background working within critical environments, with data centre experience being highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across critical engineering systems.
- Operate and maintain electrical and mechanical building services.
- Carry out HV switching and duties within the scope of HVAP authorisation.
- Diagnose faults and respond to technical issues across the site.
- Monitor critical plant and equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Complete routine inspections and maintenance in line with site procedures.
- Respond to breakdowns and emergencies as required.
Requirements
- HVAP qualification ESSENTIAL
- Previous experience within critical/data centre environments
- Strong electrical engineering background.
- Strong fault-finding and technical problem-solving skills.
- Right to work in the UK.
