Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm Job Summary We're looking for a passionate and dedicated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to take responsibility for the maintenance of a commercial site in Hatfield. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to carry out planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring essential building systems operate safely, efficiently and in line with relevant health and safety standards. The role will involve maintaining electrical building services, carrying out fault finding and repairs, and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the site. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across electrical building services, plant and equipment. Monitor and maintain building systems, responding to faults, alarms and maintenance issues. Ensure maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with relevant statutory requirements and health and safety standards. Maintain accurate records, logbooks and maintenance documentation. Assist with fault finding, inspections and ongoing improvements to building services. Take responsibility for resolving electrical maintenance issues and ensuring the safe, efficient running of building operations. Participate in a 1-in-4 call-out rota, responding to maintenance issues when required. Identify and report any defects, risks or issues requiring further attention. Requirements Relevant electrical qualification, ideally Level 3 or equivalent. Previous experience in an electrical maintenance engineering role. Strong knowledge of electrical building services, plant and equipment. Experience carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs within a commercial building environment. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and professional approach. Ability to work independently and manage maintenance priorities effectively. Good understanding of health and safety procedures and statutory compliance requirements. Right to work in the UK.
