Job Summary
We're looking for an experienced and proactive Electrical Shift Engineer to join a busy engineering team working within a high-end commercial environment in St Paul's.
The successful candidate will have a strong electrical engineering background and previous experience working within a commercial environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the building's electrical systems and services are maintained to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
·Carry out planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance across the site.
· Respond promptly to electrical faults, breakdowns and reactive maintenance requirements.
· Carry out routine inspections and ensure plant and equipment are operating effectively.
· Fault-find and diagnose electrical issues.
· Support the wider engineering team with day-to-day building services requirements.
· Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with site procedures.
· Participate in the 1 in 4 call-out rota.
Requirements
· Electrical engineering background.
· Previous experience within a commercial or high-end environment.
· Strong electrical maintenance and fault-finding skills.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work effectively as part of an established engineering team.
·Right to work in the UK.
