We are looking for a Materials Project Engineer for our Automotive customer based in Surrey, UK. The role responsibilities include:

  • Define material-related project scopes, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Manage material-related project scope, timelines, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, and suppliers.
  • Support procurement with material and vendor evaluations.
  • Experience of creating test plans and facilitating material tests.
  • Create and maintain material specifications, standards, and qualification procedures.

Preferred 20% technical, 80% project management.

Technical skills:

  • Strong understanding of composites (particularly carbon fibre).
  • Knowledge of material testing standards and correlation to CAE.
  • Knowledge of crash structures preferred.

Additional Info:

  • Available onsite for 2 days a week.
  • Inside IR35.
  • 40 hours per week.
