About the Role
You’ll be responsible for the maintenance and evolution of our Quality Management System (QMS), aligning with the rigorous standards of IATF 16949 and AS9100D. From spearheading audits to driving root cause analysis and leading strategic reviews—your efforts will ensure our products meet and exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement QMS strategies to meet industry and customer standards
- Lead internal, external, and regulatory audits with confidence
- Drive effective root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action processes
- Collaborate across departments to meet quality targets in production and supply chain
- Oversee PPAP and FAIR submissions, ensuring accuracy and a ‘right first time’ culture
- Track and report key quality metrics: defect rates, scrap levels, and customer feedback
- Manage document control systems and maintain up-to-date records
- Interface with customers, suppliers, and regulators on quality matters
- Conduct QMS management reviews, promoting continuous improvement
- Stay ahead of industry changes and embed best practices into our systems
About You
We’re seeking someone with solid experience in quality management—either as a Quality Systems Manager, or a Quality Engineer ready for a step up.
Ideal traits include:
- Manufacturing background in automotive, aerospace, or engineering
- Proven knowledge of ISO9001, IATF 16949, and AS9100D
- Skilled in quality tools such as PPAP, APQP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC
- Experience leading audits and working with external bodies
- Strong communicator with an eye for detail and a passion for excellence
