At our global Teconnex UK site, we are seeking to recruit a BDM to develop further our Bellows products within the UK. Your focus is on growing our business and extending the reach of our products across a variety of industries to increase revenue and market share.
Main duties include:
- Identifying new sales opportunities
- Pitching Teconnex bellows products
- Creating and maintaining a strong pipeline
- Meeting revenue targets
- Building strong relationships with new and existing clients and OEMs
This is a technical hunter BDM role that requires a creative and driven mindset. This is a customer-facing role and as such will be primarily field-based; however, to ensure good communication between all Departments, your time will be split between customer visits and the manufacturing site and HQ in Teconnex, situated in Keighley, West Yorkshire. We would expect visibility in our Keighley offices 2/3 days per week, the remainder depending on the schedule will be spent travelling to meet with new and existing customers/suppliers.
About you:
- A proven background within B2B sales, selling engineered components, concepts, services and/or solutions into automotive, marine, O&G, aerospace or military sectors
- A technical engineering background would be advantageous, as our products are sold to technical buyers
- You can demonstrate a record of new business development in the industrial arena
- Commercial with a proven and successful record of accomplishment in identifying, negotiating and closing new business
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong analytical skills with a results-oriented mindset
- You will enjoy working in a demanding and often pressurised environment and be able to think on your feet
