You’ve got a few years of 3D design behind you, a portfolio you’re proud of, and the nagging sense you could be doing bigger work.

This is that job, and you don’t need to have come from exhibitions to get it.

At Tecna you’ll design stands and activations for brands like Amazon, HP, Technogym, Simba Sleep and Butternut Box, then walk fifty feet and watch them get built.

Our 20,000 sq ft Farnborough HQ houses our own workshop, so the gap between what you draw and what gets made is a conversation, not a phone call to a subcontractor.

You’ll report to our Head of Creative and sit in a creative team that’s growing.

We deliver over 1,000 projects a year, from compact shell schemes to major double-deckers, which means variety, volume, and a lot of shots on goal for someone who wants to build a body of work quickly.

What you’ll be doing

Turning briefs, sketches and half-formed client ideas into 3D designs that tell a story and hit a commercial goal.

Getting under the skin of a client’s brand, audience and market position so concepts land against their objectives, not just look good.

Joining the sales team on client meetings to shape briefs at source.

Presenting concepts, mood boards, floor plans and renders, and articulating why the design works.

Building accurate cost and sale estimates with the sales team, pulling in expertise from across the business where you need it.

Keeping your finger on materials, technology and what our competitors are putting on the show floor.

Skills and Experience

3D design software experience (We work in Sketch Up and V-Ray. If you’re coming from something else, you’ll pick them up fast and we’ll help)

Present a strong portfolio of events and design demonstrating visualisation ability.

Understanding of how design intent survives contact with build capability, H&S and site constraints.

Commercial awareness to work within client budgets.
