Job Description
Talan Consulting is seeking a highly skilled FI Production Support Analyst to join our team and work with one of our prestigious investment banking partners in London. This role is ideal for a technically strong and proactive individual who thrives in high-pressure environments and is committed to maintaining the stability and performance of critical financial systems.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day Level 2/3 support for Fixed Income (FI) trading and post-trade systems.

Monitor and support critical FI production environments, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.

Collaborate closely with development, infrastructure, and front-office teams to identify and resolve issues quickly.

Perform root cause analysis and provide long-term solutions to recurring problems.

Support ION trading platform integrations and configurations.

Maintain and improve automation tools and monitoring solutions.

Participate in incident and change management processes in alignment with ITIL standards.
Qualifications
Must-Have Skills & Experience:

Fixed Income (FI) domain expertise – strong understanding of FI trading workflows and products.

Advanced knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and strong command-line skills.

Proficiency in Linux systems administration, shell scripting, and system troubleshooting.

Hands-on experience with the ION trading platform, including deployment, configuration, and support.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to handle critical incidents calmly and efficiently.

Experience working in a production support environment within investment banking or financial services.
Nice-to-Have:
