Take the lead on a high-potential sales opportunity with full ownership of UK accounts. You’ll shape the commercial strategy from day one, backed by strong technical differentiation and real headroom to grow.
Both sites are running at around a third of their capacity, so adding even one major customer could transform the business and your earnings. You’ll have direct access to senior leadership, with no layers in between, giving you the freedom to make decisions and drive change fast.
The products you’ll represent are genuinely credible in the market. Having recently acquired another engineering business, they offer superior engineering solutions, including market-leading carbide brazing and long-lasting tools that customers value for their quality. This gives you a strong position to win business across multiple sectors.
You’ll also benefit from a people-focused environment where management supports you to succeed. Systems are being modernised, lead generation is in place, and you’ll get time with production managers to understand the technical edge you bring to customers.
What you’ll do
Drive new business growth and diversification, focusing on engineering services like carbide tipped tooling and wear parts. You’ll follow up on qualified leads, convert new clients, and expand into sectors like oil & gas, marine and aeronautics. You\’ll already have a strong network in one industry where you can hit the ground running.
Building long-term relationships will be key. You’ll become the trusted technical contact for customers, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions. Your engineering background will give you credibility and help you explain the technical value.
You’ll also work closely with production managers to align delivery with sales promises, ensuring customers get what they need. This hands-on approach will help you build a strong reputation and open more opportunities.
