Job Overview

We are seeking an Enhanced Care Support Worker to join our team, providing essential care and support to patients. This role requires a high standard of clinical competency and experience working with patients who have healthcare needs, including those with behaviors that challenge.

Essential Requirements

Qualifications

• Level 2 in numeracy and literacy (or equivalent).
• Completed Care Certificate accredited by e-learning for healthcare, with evidence of both theory and all practical elements (e-learning only is not accepted).
• Plus one of the following: a Vocational Level 3 qualification in a Health-related subject (regulated by OFQUAL), or evidence of core clinical skills competency (for new hires), or a completed Band 2 competency booklet (for existing Mid Yorkshire staff).

Experience

• Experience working in a Health and Social Care setting.
• Experience working with patients requiring healthcare and those with behaviors that challenge.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good time management, with the ability to work flexibly, quickly, and accurately.
