Working Hours:
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow all health and safety protocols on site
- Apply knowledge of UK regulations for Transmission Line Engineers
- Perform rigging, blocking (dressing), and clipping-in on tension and suspension towers
- Complete spacering tasks using a spacer trolley safely
- Apply earthing schemes to overhead line conductors
- Operate platforms, ladders, and pladders safely
- Carry out jointing and jumpering activities
- Replace steel components on towers as needed
- Interpret schematic diagrams and technical drawings
- Work collaboratively within a team environment
- Maintain a proactive and hard-working attitude
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience on high-voltage transmission line projects, including:
- Working at heights
- Maintenance of high-voltage transmission lines
- OHL tension/stringing operations
- Tower assembly/erection using cranes or derricks
- Experience with pullers, tensioners, erection tools, or tractor winches
- Valid UK driving licence (support for conversion available)
For International Applicants:
- Pass UKVI IELTS or provide proof of English proficiency
- Clear Tuberculosis test (if applicable)
- Clean immigration history
