The Role
As the clinic’s new sports physiotherapist, you’ll be working wonders with sports-related injuries, helping patients with tailored treatment plans, and educating them to prevent future injuries. You’ll also work with various other injuries and conditions that come through the doors – from the chronic to the curious.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assess, diagnose, and treat sports injuries, creating personalised treatment plans for a full recovery.
- Treat a range of conditions, including:
- Muscle strains and sprains
- Ligament injuries
- Joint pain and stiffness
- Back, shoulder, and neck discomfort
- Tendonitis and other common sports issues
- Guide patients through rehabilitation exercises, offering advice on posture, lifestyle, and the all-important injury prevention.
- Get hands-on with massages, stretching, and strengthening exercises – your toolbox of techniques is always at the ready.
