We are looking for Qualified Social Workers to join our busy hospital social work team based at Bedford Hospital.

This is an excellent opportunity to join our fast-paced, supportive team and work closely with our colleagues in health. You will be assessing residents of Bedford Borough both in the hospital and the community, working to ensure timely, safe, and effective discharges.

What We Offer:

  • A supportive, forward-thinking team environment.
  • Generous holiday entitlement.
  • Market Rate Supplement: £2,000 per annum pro rata (subject to review).
  • Retention Payments: £2,000 paid after 4 years of service and then every 4 years subsequently.
  • Registration Fee: We also offer to pay for your registration fee for Social Work England.
  • Visa Sponsorship: The Council has a sponsorship licence and may be able to offer visa sponsorship to candidates for this post that are based in the UK.
