NNES Fircroft is currently recruiting for a Site Supervisor for our client, a leading power cabling company.

Site Supervisor

Location: Durham

Contract position

Responsibilities

  1. Oversee all activities on the cable route, including survey, enabling works (access points, fencing, spoil stripping, haul road construction, pre-construction drainage installation), trench and joint bay excavations, cable laying, jointing, backfilling, and testing as delegated.
  2. Identify risks (including HSE) and opportunities; report to the Site Manager/Project Installation Manager.
  3. Conduct proactive work to mitigate identified risks.
  4. Assist in planning the work on site, including scheduling of activities to minimize safety risks.
  5. Ensure work complies with Health & Safety and Environmental plans.
  6. Monitor the schedule, report deviations and changes to the PIM.
  7. Coordinate subcontractors effectively.
  8. Report to the Project Installation Manager or Senior Site Installation Manager as delegated.
  9. Provide daily progress reports according to project procedures.
  10. Register and report deviations related to Quality and HSE throughout the project to relevant authorities.
  11. Participate in client site meetings when necessary.
  12. Manage employee performance documentation and provide feedback to management.
