NES Fircroft has partnered with an industry-leading power cabling client to recruit a Site Manager/Supervisor for a high-profile project based in Kincardine, Scotland. This is your chance to lead a high-impact project that enhances Scotland's electricity transmission network, supporting the integration of renewable energy sources and ensuring a sustainable future.
The ideal person will have experience in cabling works (joint bays, HDD, cable systems, terminations), proficiency in reviewing and creating RAMS, previous experience with Project Wise, and strong documentation skills.
Please note this has been assessed as inside IR35 (PAYE or Umbrella only).
Responsibilities:
- Prepare or review RAMS and subcontractor documents.
- Organise Lift Plans and monitor licences/consents (e.g., archaeology, UXO, ecology).
- Address technical queries through the TQ process.
- Review survey reports and organise additional surveys as needed.
- Ensure compliance with land agreements and planning permissions.
- Attend and lead weekly SHEQ and Progress meetings, forwarding minutes to relevant team members.
- Attend interface meetings and forward minutes.
- Prepare store requisitions for HV Store items.
- Organise materials, vehicles, plants, and equipment, maintaining on-site records.
- Conduct daily risk assessments and issue permits for high-risk activities.
- Undertake regular Sensible Monitoring.
- Witness operations, inspections, and tests, ensuring compliance and record-keeping.
- Invite clients to witness key operations using Inspection Notification forms.
- Complete Non-Conformance Reports and maintain a snagging list.
- Prepare condition reports and ensure proper reinstatement.
- Attend trial holes and review associated reports.
- Maintain a daily site diary and photographic records.
Required Qualifications:
SPEN Authorisations are required, although ticket sponsorship is also available.
