Care Assistant, Weekend in Shrewsbury

Compensation and Benefits

• Weekend Pay: £13.30 per hour (enhanced rate for weekends).
• Travel: Paid travel time and paid mileage (40p per mile).
• Holidays: Enhanced rate of pay at Bank Holidays (time and a half).
• Hours: Weekend hours available, including earlies, evenings, and alternate weekends (or weekends only if preferred). Sleep-in & Waking Nights are also available.
• Training & Development: Comprehensive, paid induction and ongoing, paid-for training including Apprenticeships, Mental Health First Aid, Dementia Care, and Palliative Care. Fully funded Care Certificate and paid for DBS check.

Role Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with daily routines (e.g., getting up or ready for bed).
• Helping with elements of personal care.
• Preparing meals and assisting with shopping or prescription collections.
• Ensuring the client's home remains safe and clean.
• Providing companionship and reliable support.

Essential Requirements

• Driving: UK Driving License & own vehicle are required.
• Availability: Must be available for weekend hours.
