We are looking for a copywriter who is passionate about K-Beauty to join our product team. This entry-level role will introduce you to the exciting world of copywriting! You will play a crucial role in assisting the team leader in creating informative product descriptions, engaging marketing copy, and other written content that communicates the unique features of our K-Beauty products. This role also works closely with purchasing to provide insights, product testing feedback, and recommendations about emerging brands and products within the industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Product Descriptions: Collaborate with the wider product and purchasing teams to create clear, compelling, and accurate product descriptions for our Korean skincare and makeup products.
- Copy Editing: Assist with reviewing and editing product copy to ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to brand and UK ASA guidelines.
- Content Creation: Assist in developing various written content, including blog posts, social media captions, and promotional materials.
- Brand Voice: Maintain a consistent brand voice across all product communication, ensuring it aligns with the company’s overall messaging and positioning.
- Market Research / Testing: Assist with creating and presenting market research to identify emerging trends, new brands, and stock opportunities within the Korean beauty market. Participate in product testing sessions and provide detailed feedback.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, retail, and purchasing, to gather insights and assets for effective copy creation.
- Product Launch Support: Create compelling and accurate product messaging to assist in the preparation and execution of product launches.
- Strong passion and existing knowledge of the Korean beauty industry.
- Qualifications or strong skill sets in English, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Creative flair and the ability to craft engaging and persuasive copy.
- Any level of spoken/written Korean is a plus (but not essential).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
NOTE: Although previous experience in copywriting or content creation is a plus, it is not mandatory for this role. The key element for this position is a deep passion and knowledge of Korean beauty, especially of new and trending products.
