We have exciting opportunities for permanent social workers who are passionate about empowering citizens to reach their full potential in our integrated neighborhood teams, safeguarding adults, mental health team, transitions, and review team.
Are you looking for a new challenge? Are you passionate about supporting adults with care and support needs to live fulfilling and independent lives? Guidance, support, and supervision will be provided in accordance with the individual’s experience and capabilities and in line with our Supervision Policy.
About You
- Must hold a qualification in Social Work.
- Good demonstrable understanding of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Mental Health Act, and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent or has the equivalent relevant work experience (BSc/MA in Social Work, Dip SW/HE or CQSW).
- Knowledge of social work models and interventions, including strengths-based practice models (Desirable).
- Knowledge and understanding of discriminated groups and the ability to ensure that services are appropriately delivered to meet their needs (Desirable).
Requirements
- Social Work England registration.
- A full UK driving license.
- DBS clearance.
- Authority to work in the UK.
