Part Time Practice Nurse Preston (Visa Sponsorship Available)
We are working with a GP practice in a residential area of Preston, currently seeking a part-time Practice Nurse to join their experienced and friendly clinical team. The practice is home to a dynamic team that includes two GP partners, eight salaried GPs, four Nurse Practitioners, three Practice Nurses, three HCAs, a Paramedic, and a Pharmacist. With excellent administrative support and a strong ethos around patient-centered care, this is a fantastic opportunity for a nurse looking to work in a collaborative and progressive setting.
Key Duties:
- Conduct chronic disease management clinics, particularly for diabetes and respiratory conditions.
- Administer childhood immunizations and carry out asthma reviews.
- Perform general nursing duties, including wound care, cervical cytology, travel vaccinations, and NHS health checks.
- Participate in health promotion and disease prevention initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records using EMIS Web.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong clinical knowledge and experience in general practice nursing.
- Competence in chronic disease management (e.g., asthma, diabetes, COPD).
- Confidence using EMIS Web (or a willingness to undertake refresher training).

Package and Benefits:
