Oil & Gas Trading Technology Transformation Senior/Principal Consultant (Senior BA) – London based Energy Trading House

Global asset-backed energy/commodity trading house seeks an experienced Technology Transformation Oil, Gas & Biofuels Trading Transformation Senior/Principal Consultant (Senior Business Analyst) to join their London Global HQ.

Working in their Energy Trading Technology Team (focused on Oil, Natural Gas, and BioFuels Trading), you\’ll work as an internal consultant on various IT transformation projects, mainly for the London trading desk but also with trading desks in Singapore and Houston.

This is a London-based role, requiring an average of 3 days per week at their Central London HQ, with 2 days remote work.
Candidates should ideally be based in London, with a valid passport or visa to live and work in the UK. The client will sponsor a UK visa and facilitate relocation for exceptional candidates.

The role involves working on a global Endur ETRM/CTRM system (version 23). The successful candidate should have some exposure to Endur or similar major E/CTRM systems (CXL, Allegro, Aspect, Aligne, Entrade, Trinity). The role includes Endur upgrades and a significant focus on technology transformation, including a global cloud transformation project from London.

Key skills sought:

• Proven energy or commodity trading experience (preferably Oil, Natural Gas, or BioFuels) in management consulting roles related to technology transformations or E/CTRM implementations.
• Previous external IT/management consulting experience is highly desirable, especially with a Big 4 or similar tier-one consultancy. Experience within internal consulting roles at energy trading firms is also valuable.
• This is a senior position requiring a track record as a senior management consultant or BA, capable of working autonomously and mentoring the team.
• Bright, degree-educated candidates, preferably in Computer Science or a related discipline.
