My client, a highly successful distribution service, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their state‑of‑the‑art, automated site in Nottingham. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Carry out repairs, maintenance work, and routine testing on all site machinery and equipment.
  • Complete scheduled planned maintenance work orders.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach by assisting in the development of preventative maintenance mechanisms.
  • Understand and support the achievement of site KPI improvements.
  • Raise Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives to enhance equipment performance and overall warehouse efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Completion of a recognized apprenticeship in a mechanical or electrical discipline.
  • Must hold at least a Level 2 qualification in the complementary discipline (e.g., if apprenticeship was electrical, Level 2 must be mechanical).
  • Proven experience in a similar electro‑mechanical engineering field.

Shift Pattern & Benefits

Shift Pattern: Panama 3-2-2 (rotating days/nights on 12-hour shifts).

Salary: £48,000 - £49,600 per annum.
