An industry-leading global manufacturer is hiring an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead a dynamic team of engineers at their Scottish Borders site. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on mechanical engineer or supervisor to join a growing business with significant investment in staff development and future leadership opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day management and leadership of the maintenance team (10 engineers)
  • Overseeing planned and reactive maintenance to ensure continuous plant operation
  • Working closely with operations and senior management to improve processes
  • Hands-on maintenance duties in a fast-paced industrial environment
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Reporting maintenance KPIs and improvement initiatives

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 08:00 – 16:00

Benefits Package:

  • Salary of £55,000 – £60,000 per annum
  • Annual performance-based bonus
  • Overtime available
  • 8% employer pension contribution
  • 36 days’ holiday (inclusive of bank holidays)

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial maintenance role
  • Strong mechanical engineering background; multi-skilled or electrical skills a bonus
  • Background in manufacturing, process, food, drink, or heavy industry preferred
  • Ability to lead a team, manage shift patterns, and uphold safety standards
  • Right to work in the UK or eligibility for visa sponsorship

Ideal for candidates based in or open to relocating to:
Eyemouth, Berwick-upon-Tweed, Galashiels, Duns, Lamberton, or nearby areas in Scotland or northern England.
