About the Role
As a Live-In Carer, you will live with and care for a client on a one-to-one basis, supporting them in daily activities and creating a nurturing home environment. Each assignment is tailored to match your skills with the client\’s specific needs, ensuring the best outcomes for both.
You will follow a scheduled rota (e.g., 2, 4, or 6 weeks) and provide up to 10 hours of daily care, with ample rest and support from our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide consistent, live-in care and companionship to one client or a couple
- Assist with daily routines such as personal care, mobility, bathing, and toileting
- Support clients with conditions like dementia, stroke, or Parkinson’s disease
- Administer medication as required
- Manage household tasks: cooking, cleaning, laundry, and shopping
- Follow a person-centered care plan developed for the client’s specific needs
Qualifications & Requirements
- Prior experience as a care assistant or support worker in residential, domiciliary, or family settings
- Compassionate, reliable, and adaptable personality
- Willingness to live in a client’s home for the rota duration
- Fluent English communication skills
