Prospect Health are currently looking to recruit a Lead GP for a practice located near Peterlee, ideally 6 sessions a week. You will be required to provide clinical leadership to the practice and the staff within it. You will be actively involved in things such as QoF, CQC and locality meetings amongst other things. There is a great level of support available with a centralised admin function allowing GPs to focus on the clinical side of things. This practice has a small list size, where continuity of care is at the forefront. You can really get to know your patients and their families. The workload is manageable with an average number of patient consults per session and low visits. The practice has strong links with training and development of not only GPs but Nurses and other allied health professionals.
