About the Job:

  • Maintain high standards of nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and be personally responsible for your actions following the Trust's Policies and Procedures.
  • Give and promote Health Promotion Education under the guidance of a Registered Nurse to the patient and carer in order to promote wellbeing and prevent further unnecessary hospital admissions.
  • Ensure a high quality service is maintained by implementing Trust Clinical Governance Plans.
  • Work as a member of the Multidisciplinary Team, and in conjunction with these other professionals promote a holistic model of care.
  • Maintain accurate written and/or electronic records ensuring all legal requirements are met.
  • Be prepared to work flexibly and to the needs of the service.

We recommend that all individuals employed in patient-facing roles, or those located on a ward or department where patients receive a service should be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
