We are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join our Cancer Services team as a Fast Track Team Leader. This role involves managing suspected cancer referrals received by the Trust, coordinating within appropriate timeframes, and helping us meet our cancer treatment targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Line manage a small team with support from the Quality and Cancer Performance Manager.
- Contact patients by telephone to arrange appointments and discuss their referrals.
- Encourage early attendance where necessary and highlight capacity issues for resolution.
- Liaise with GP surgeries regarding issues, errors, or anomalies.
- Use NHS systems to book patient appointments and handle referrals.
Candidate Requirements:
- Ability to work on a Monday; part-time hours considered.
- Efficient, caring, proactive, and patient-focused with an understanding of confidentiality.
- Accurate with excellent attention to detail.
