Working Hours
- Monday to Friday, 8 am - 6 pm (45 hours per week)
- 1-hour lunch break
- 15-minute morning and afternoon breaks
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and identify vehicle faults
- Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs
- Maintain accurate records of work in progress and completed jobs
- Test vehicle parts and systems to ensure proper functioning
- Carry out basic vehicle care, such as tyre changes and oil checks
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar vehicle mechanic role
- Formal automotive qualification preferred
- Dealership experience is an advantage
- Strong understanding of diesel and petrol engines
- Confident in engine rebuilding, head gasket replacement, and timing chain changes
- Knowledge of vehicle electrics is beneficial
- Experience with brands such as Jaguar Land Rover, Mercedes, BMW, VW/Audi, and Porsche
- Valid UK driving licence or international driving permit (conversion support available)
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
