Clinical Lead GP required near York, paid CPD/management session, £11,354 per session, BMA contract. Prospect Health is recruiting a Clinical Lead GP for a medium sized teaching practice near York. The practice is looking for a GP to provide overall clinical leadership in the practice and manage a team of 5 Salaried GPs, as well as a nursing and clinical support team. You will be fully supported by an experienced Practice Manager. You will be required to work 3 clinical sessions a week with a 4th CPD/management session. The workload in your clinical sessions is manageable with 14 patient contacts per session and home visits are rare. The practice uses SystmOne.
Key Duties
- 4 sessions a week available (3 clinical and 1 CPD/management session)
- Provide clinical leadership to the practice with support from an experienced Practice Manager
- Practice list size of 9,000 patients
- Team of 5 Salaried GPs, 3 Advanced Clinical Practitioners, 3 Practice Nurses and 3 HCAs
- Modern purpose built health centre
- Manageable workload of 14 patients per session
- Home visits are rare
- Practice uses SystmOne
