We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Delivery Flow Lead to take ownership of the material flow process. This role ensures that all parts and materials are received, inspected, stored, and accumulated correctly and efficiently within our logistics operations. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end flow processes, internal departments, and ensuring timely and accurate tracking of all movements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the complete flow of materials from receipt to accumulation and delivery to our production teams.
- Manage receipt inspection teams to ensure materials are processed according to internal quality standards.
- Maintain accurate tracking of all material movements, ensuring visibility and accountability at each stage.
- Manage Stores and Accumulation teams to ensure seamless material handling and storage or not only departmental storage but site wide storage.
- Identify and resolve flow bottlenecks, implementing process improvements where needed utilising GE's FLIGHTDECK system as the backbone to monitor rate and drive improvements.
- Maintain close communication with all parties to ensure timely returns and address any logistical challenges.
- Provide regular reporting and updates to the Logistics Leader on material status, issues, and performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and operational policies and procedures.
- Support inventory initiatives driving accuracy and accountability improvements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, and material flow management, ideally in a repair or manufacturing environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for internal and external stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in logistics software, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office tools.
