Key Responsibilities
- Assist with high-quality imaging services across Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and the Emergency Department
- Prepare patients for scans and procedures, including cannulation, venepuncture, and Point of Care Testing (POCT)
- Accurately maintain patients’ electronic imaging records
- Communicate compassionately with patients, families, and staff
- Support rota coordination, stock control, and administrative tasks
- Contribute to the training of new Support Workers
- Maintain compliance with NHS standards, safety protocols, and data systems
What We’re Looking For
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude and strong willingness to learn
- NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health or Care Certificate (required)
- Training or experience in venepuncture, cannulation, or POCT (desirable but can be provided)
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment (essential)
- Experience in Imaging Departments and IT systems like CRIS & PACS (desirable)
