Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join our team as a Clinical Site Manager. This is a part-time, fixed-term contract for three years, based at Harrogate District Hospital. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.
About the Role:
As a Clinical Site Manager, you will play a key role in managing the Trust’s bed capacity, resolving patient flow issues, and supporting the achievement of key performance and quality standards. You will provide support to nursing, medical, and ancillary staff, as well as patients and their families, across the hospital site both day and night. The role includes overall responsibility for the hospital site out of hours, with support from the on-call senior manager or director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage bed capacity and patient flow across the hospital
- Support staff and patients throughout the site, day and night
- Ensure achievement of performance and quality standards
- Provide leadership and decision-making in a fast-paced environment
- Work a 24/7 rota, including days and nights, over a seven-day period
Candidate Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (NMC) or registered with HCPC
- Degree-level education or equivalent experience
- Evidence of ongoing professional development in nursing
- Recognised leadership development training
- Minimum one year of clinical leadership or team leader (Band 6) experience in an acute setting
- Advanced clinical skills and professional competence
- Experience working at a senior management or clinical level
- Strong multidisciplinary team working skills
- Master’s degree or teaching qualification
- Previous experience in bed management or clinical site management
- Experience at Band 6 level
- Involvement in clinical audit or research
- Supportive and inclusive work culture
