Detailed job description and main responsibilities
King\βs has a long and illustrious history with emerging works in the area of science and nutrition. The authors of the Composition of Foods, Elsie Widdowson and Robert McCance met at Denmark Hill in the 1930\βs and Dr R.D. Lawrence and the author H.G. Wells founded the British Diabetes Association (now known as Diabetes UK) from this Hospital on Denmark Hill site.
The Nutrition and Dietetic Department at KCH employs over 60 staff across three main sites; Denmark Hill, Princess Royal University Hospital, and Orpington Hospital. We are leaders in several areas of clinical care including gastroenterology, paediatrics, hepatology, diabetes, renal, cystic fibrosis, complex obesity and neurosciences.

Essential criteria
- HCPC registered
- Qualification in the area of specialisation or evidence of significant experience working to or at a Masters level
- Evidence of extensive experience and proficiency working in Nutrition and Dietetics, with in-depth knowledge to expert level within a specialist area to include enteral and parenteral nutrition
- Evidence of suitable management skills development
Desirable criteria
- Experience of clinical research
- HPB or Liver experience
