Job Description

This role is for skilled operators focused on the manufacturing and assembly of aircraft parts for civil programs. The successful applicant will demonstrate flexibility and work effectively as part of a larger multi-disciplined team, undertaking a variety of tasks.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Read and follow manufacturing plans.
  • Ensure adherence to quality and health & safety standards.
  • Follow daily manufacturing metrics.
  • Participate in lean activities and other initiatives.
  • Support manufacturing delivery needs.
  • Work in teams to achieve delivery targets.
  • Complete manufacturing paperwork and job cards.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Experience in general electronics and mechanical assembly work.
  • Ability to recognize and identify components.
  • Ability to understand technical drawings and instructions.
  • Good concentration and attention to detail.
  • Able to produce work of high quality.
  • Dextrous and able to work on small products.
  • A flexible and cooperative approach.
  • Appreciation of health and safety practice in the workplace.
  • Experience of self-directed work teams and teaming.
  • Awareness of customer expectations and business requirements.
  • Good communication and time-keeping skills.
