About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Care Worker to join our team. This role requires someone with a valid UK driving license and access to their own car, as you will be traveling to clients' homes to provide essential care and support.
Main Duties
- Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support with toileting needs and continence management.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor health conditions.
- Report any changes in health to a supervisor or healthcare professional.
- Help clients with mobility and transfers, using appropriate equipment.
- Accompany clients to appointments or social activities.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Ensure the home environment is safe and comfortable.
- Provide companionship and engage in conversation to alleviate loneliness.
- Support clients' mental and emotional well-being through active listening and encouragement.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in the client's condition.
- Complete daily logs and report to the supervisor as required.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Attend regular training sessions and stay updated with best practices in care.
Qualifications
Please note we are only able to consider applicants who meet the minimum requirements below:
- Demonstrable experience of working in care in the UK.
- A strong standard of English, both written and verbally.
- That you share our values of kindness, inclusivity, honesty, aspiration, and creativity.
- Valid UK driving license and access to a car.
