As a Business Process Analyst – Finance, you will play a key role in delivering Finance transformation initiatives across EMEA, with a primary focus on the roll‑out of an integrated e‑invoicing solution and SAP FI‑related projects. You will act as a business partner to Finance and Operations teams across EMEA, working closely with Finance stakeholders, IT teams and external partners to deliver system improvements, process optimisation and regulatory compliance. This is a hands‑on, delivery‑focused role covering the full change lifecycle including:
- Requirements gathering and documentation
- Process design and optimisation
- System integration support
- Testing and UAT
- Business readiness and training
- Deployment and stabilisation support
The role suits an experienced Finance Business Analyst who can operate independently in a complex transformation environment and deliver under time constraints.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis & Project Delivery
- Act as Business Analyst on Finance initiatives and projects
- Support the management of change requests (CRs) from business stakeholders
- Maintain the Finance change roadmap
- Work with BPOs, other Business Analysts and IT teams to produce well‑documented business requirements, process flows and user documentation
- Define as‑is and to‑be end‑to‑end Finance processes
- Analyse the impact of proposed solutions and ensure processes are optimised and well controlled
- Support BPOs in prioritising change requests
Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with Finance stakeholders, BPOs and IT teams
- Facilitate workshops and design sessions
- Capture business feedback and translate into requirements
- Act as a bridge between business and technical teams
Testing & Implementation
- Develop integration and user acceptance test scripts
- Coordinate and manage UAT activities
- Review test results against business expectations
- Support training activities
- Produce user guides and documentation
Continuous Improvement
- Identify process improvement opportunities
- Use data analysis to support optimisation
- Recommend improvements to efficiency and controls
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst and/or Project Manager
- A minimum of 3‑5 years of experience in Finance or Accounting, either in a BA role or as a Financial Analyst/Controller
- Strong SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA experience
- FMCG/Manufacturing experience
- Experience delivering ERP or compliance‑related change
- Experience managing UAT
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to travel within Europe
- Experience implementing e‑invoicing solutions
- VAT / Intrastat knowledge
- Manufacturing exposure
- BA qualification (e.g. BCS)
- Agile / Waterfall delivery experience
- Knowledge of German language
