About the role
TechTrace Partners are working with a leading FMCG company that is hiring an ERP Support Analyst / ERP Applications Analyst to support, optimise and develop the use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O across a multi-site group environment. This role would suit someone with a few years of ERP, D365 or business applications experience who wants to step into a broader role with more exposure, more ownership and strong long-term development potential. The business is not looking for a pure infrastructure profile. The focus is business applications, ERP support, user engagement, process improvement, data, testing and working closely with an external Microsoft support partner.
What you’ll be doing
- Providing 1st and 2nd line support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and related business applications.
- Working with users across the business to understand issues, reproduce problems and identify appropriate resolutions.
- Supporting ERP activity across functions such as Finance, Manufacturing, Procurement, Sales and Logistics.
- Liaising with the external Microsoft support partner to manage escalations, fixes, testing and change activity.
- Supporting process improvement, user adoption and system optimisation across multiple sites.
- Assisting with testing, change control, user guidance and documentation.
- Getting involved in group-level ERP and business systems projects.
- Supporting data quality, reporting, user access reviews and periodic system administration tasks.
What we’re looking for
- Experience working with D365 F&O or another ERP system in a support, analyst, functional or business applications capacity.
- A good understanding of how ERP systems support business processes.
- Strong problem-solving ability and the confidence to investigate issues properly.
- Good Excel and data-handling skills.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work with users across different teams and sites.
- Someone proactive, organised and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
- A genuine interest in ERP, business applications and continuous improvement.
Useful, but not essential
- Experience with D365 F&O across multiple modules.
- Exposure to EDI, integrations, APIs, XML, JSON or CSV.
- Knowledge of SQL or data querying.
Who this role suits
This role would suit someone who has enough ERP or D365 experience to add value quickly, but who is still looking for a role with a clear learning curve. You may come from an end-user business, D365 partner, consultancy, agency or another ERP environment. The key requirement is that you understand business applications, can work well with users, and have the aptitude to grow into a broader ERP systems role.
Why apply?
This is a strong opportunity to join a large, established FMCG environment where ERP is central to day-to-day operations. You’ll gain exposure to a broad D365 F&O environment, multiple business functions, group-level projects and an external Microsoft support partner, while continuing to develop your ERP and business applications career.
