Responsibilities
- Continually evolve how our Omdia platforms create, market, deliver and sell our products to best serve our customers.
- Design and integrate the different platforms, systems and tools across our portfolio of businesses (including recently acquired Canalys and through our combination with TechTarget).
- Monitor our customer, prospect and colleague needs in order to evolve and adapt our platform, systems and tools.
- Monitor the competitor landscape to inform platform innovation and our platform roadmap.
- Manage and direct team responsible for strategy execution and maintenance, including:
- Prioritizing product/platform features, managing the backlog and owning the product/platform/Data roadmap (and influencing the product roadmap of third-party solutions).
- Maintaining platform resourcing and monitoring, including the platform, systems and tools budget.
- Leading ongoing platform optimization including UX, bug-fixing, upgrades.
- Leading product ops to ensure syncing up with the commercial product management team.
- Providing a portfolio-wide review on pricing.
Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge and experience of strategic thinking around platform and technology and how this drives and enables results for customers and colleagues.
- Extensive knowledge and experience of technology platforms and ability to assess, select, and manage vendors and owned resources on an ongoing basis.
- Ability to rapidly acquire domain expertise – the market, Omdia platform, product design, associated technology platforms.
- Strong and proven leadership skills – ability to form, lead, coach and develop a cross-functional team and work with a range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrable commercial expertise and understanding of finance, analytics and marketing.
- Existing understanding of market research / market intelligence / research-led subscription businesses a clear advantage.
