Role Overview
The UI Front End Developer will join a central UI crew, working on Java-based microservice applications. This role focuses on building robust, scalable web interfaces using modern front-end technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using Angular framework
- Build and customize reusable UI components within our design system
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate Figma designs into functional, pixel‑perfect interfaces
- Integrate front-end applications with Java-based microservices via RESTful APIs
- Implement and maintain the Design System Management (DSM) for consistency across applications
- Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code following best practices
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes
- Work closely with back‑end developers to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and debug cross‑browser compatibility issues
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
Required Qualifications/Skills
- 3+ years of professional experience in front‑end development
- Strong proficiency in Angular (Angular 12+ preferred)
- Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and TypeScript/JavaScript (ES6+)
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating with microservices architecture
- Solid understanding of responsive design principles and mobile‑first development
- Proficiency with version control systems (Git)
- Experience with Figma or similar design tools for design‑to‑code translation
- Strong understanding of component‑based architecture and reusable design patterns
- Knowledge of state management solutions (NgRx, RxJS)
- Familiarity with build tools and package managers (npm, webpack, Angular CLI)
