You’ll join a highly respected, product-led engineering team building a modern, open-source JavaScript charting library used at serious scale, from complex enterprise systems to high-stakes decision-making tools.
Your mission: Raise the visual bar. Turn data into stories developers are proud to ship. This sits right at the intersection of data visualisation, design judgement, and engineering craft.
What you’ll be doing:
- Designing beautiful, meaningful chart examples that demonstrate how data should feel when it’s well presented
- Elevating the visual quality and storytelling across documentation, demos, and the website
- Defining and championing best-practice visualisation patterns — clarity first, always
- Helping developers understand why a chart works, not just how to configure it
- Contributing to blogs, tutorials, and visual content that teach strong visual thinking
- Optionally contributing to the core charting engine if you enjoy going deeper technically
What we’re looking for:
- A strong portfolio that shows visual storytelling, not just charts-for-the-sake-of-it
- Deep understanding of data visualisation principles (hierarchy, scale, colour, perception)
