The role is responsible for providing functional leadership, solution guidance, and stakeholder support across Oracle Cloud applications and Service Now, with a focus on Oracle HCM and ERP Cloud with knowledge on security, data migration, integrations, in public sector implementation. The role acts as a bridge between business stakeholders, Oracle product teams, consulting cross teams, technical teams, data migration teams, integration teams, HR Help Desk teams, ServiceNow teams, and customer representatives. It ensures that business requirements are clearly understood, solution options are assessed, design decisions are aligned, risks are identified, and support guidance is provided in line with Oracle Cloud best practice.
A key part of the role is also to provide direction on the functional design and operating model for Oracle HR Help Desk and ServiceNow, ensuring there is a clear path for how employee enquiries, HR case management, service requests, integrations, ownership, and hand‑offs are managed across both platforms.

Required Experience:
- Strong experience working with Oracle Cloud applications, particularly Oracle HCM and ERP Cloud and associated functional areas.
- Good understanding of HR and ERP support model including Service Now concepts, and security.
- Experience with Help Desk, service request models, HR and ERP service delivery would be highly beneficial.
- Experience providing functional direction to data migration and integration teams, including reviewing design assumptions, validating source-to-target mapping, supporting data cleansing decisions, and confirming integration requirements.
- Experience supporting public sector or large enterprise Oracle Cloud implementations.
- Oracle Cloud certifications: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional; Oracle Cloud Application Architect; Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications (HCM / ERP / EPM) certifications.
- Experience managing sensitive queries involving access, licensing, customer references, data exposure, integrations, data migration, HR service delivery, and third‑party product usage.
- SC clearance is essential. Pre‑cleared candidates strongly preferred.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Strong Oracle Cloud functional knowledge across HCM, ERP and Service Now.
- Ability to provide clear functional direction to data migration and integration teams, ensuring that migration rules, data mapping, integration design, validation requirements, error handling, and cutover planning align with the agreed business process and Oracle Cloud design.
- Ability to define and communicate a clear path between ServiceNow and Oracle HR Help Desk, including platform responsibilities, case ownership, integration touchpoints, hand‑offs, process boundaries, and governance.
- Ability to communicate complex topics in a clear, professional, and customer‑appropriate manner.
- Strong stakeholder management and follow‑up skills.
- Good commercial awareness, particularly where licensing, customer usage, third‑party products, integrations, and product dependencies are involved.
- Analytical approach to problem‑solving.
- Ability to work across internal Oracle teams to obtain validated responses.
- Confidence in challenging assumptions and identifying when formal confirmation is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar field preferred or equivalent job‑related experiences.
- 10–15+ years in cloud applications architecture and/or consulting leadership roles.
- Strong background in consulting, SI, or professional services environments.
- Proven experience leading architecture across large, complex, multi‑year programmes.
- Direct Oracle HCM/ERP Cloud experience (function or technical implementation roles).
- Experience with design authority frameworks and localisation governance in multi‑organisation programmes.
- Experience with requirement management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Sharepoint, etc.).
