A growing UK tech consultancy is hiring a mid-level IAM Engineer to come in and own the identity space. Strong public sector footprint, real government programme work in the pipeline, and a team that promotes from within.

What you'll actually be doing:

  • Running BAU identity operations across AD, Entra ID and M365.
  • Owning the JML process end to end.

  • Supporting access reviews and tightening up permissions against Zero Trust standards.
  • Automating the repetitive tasks with PowerShell and ServiceNow.
  • Getting hands-on with Okta (SSO, federation, lifecycle).

What you'll need:

  • Solid AD and Entra ID / Azure AD admin experience.
  • M365 identity (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint permissions).
  • A real grasp of RBAC, Least Privilege and Zero Trust.
  • ServiceNow or similar ITSM experience.
  • Eligible to hold UK SC clearance.

Nice to have:

  • Okta, PowerShell scripting.
  • UK government or regulated sector exposure.
  • ITIL / ISO 27001 awareness.
