- Project Manager – Defence
- Abbey Wood or Bristol | 3 days onsite per week | £300–£350/day Inside IR35
We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of semi-complex projects within a large-scale Defence/Mo D environment.
You'll lead multidisciplinary teams, manage project delivery across cost, time and performance, and work closely with customers and stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and delivered.
What you'll be doing
- Lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams
- Deliver projects within agreed cost, time and performance targets
- Manage risks, opportunities, dependencies and project governance
- Work closely with customers to understand requirements and acceptance criteria
- Manage budgets, resources and project controls
- Monitor contract and supplier performance
- Identify lessons learned and drive continuous improvement
- Support the development of project management teams
What we're looking for
- Proven experience leading and managing project teams
- Experience delivering semi-complex or multiple projects
- Strong stakeholder and customer management skills
- Experience managing cost, time, risk and project performance
- Defence/Mo D experience would be highly relevant
- APM PMQ, MSP, PRINCE2 or similar is desirable
