We’re working with a fast-growing cybersecurity SaaS business that’s building a completely new product from the ground up. The goal is to turn complex, messy data into something powerful and insightful.

They’re looking for a Tech Lead who still loves to code. Around 80% hands-on, you’ll stay close to the tech while guiding a small team (currently 2 engineers, with plans to grow over the next year). The stack is centred on Golang, with systems running on AWS and Kubernetes. You don’t need to be deep into platform engineering since there’s a dedicated infra team for that, but you’ll need to be comfortable working in that environment.

If you enjoy solving data-heavy problems, designing clean systems that scale, and mentoring engineers without stepping too far from the code, this could be a great fit.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Building out a new product that brings multiple data sources together to uncover new insights
  • Leading by example, promoting clean design and quality delivery
  • Helping shape how the team grows, both technically and culturally
Experience we’re looking for:
  • Strong Golang background
  • Solid experience with modern backend engineering and distributed systems
  • Knowledge of databases such as Postgres or OpenSearch
  • Familiarity with AWS and Kubernetes

If you’re the kind of engineer who enjoys creating new things rather than maintaining old ones, this is worth a look.
