Android Developer

Android Developer | Kotlin, Room, GraphQL, MVVM | Greenfield, up to £75k

We’re looking for a self-driven Android Engineer to develop and maintain a two brand new greenfield applications for an Entertainment business. We are looking for Engineers experienced working in a product driven environment who care and understand how their work impacts users.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain the Android application, ensuring high performance and quality.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features.

Identify and fix performance bottlenecks and bugs.

Maintain clean, well-structured, and automated code.

Essential Skills & Experience:

Commercial Android development experience.

Expertise in Kotlin, MVVM, ViewModel, LiveData, and coroutines (Kotlin Flow).

Proven ability to lead feature development from inception to launch.

Strong testing experience (unit, integration, functional).

Experience with Room (persistent storage).

Nice to Have:

Web technologies & cross-platform experience.

Blending native & WebView for enhanced app experiences.

Payment provider integration, GraphQL, and accessibility experience.
