Project Manager – Defence Abbey Wood or Bristol | 3 days onsite per week | £300–£350/day Inside IR35
We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of semi-complex projects within a large-scale Defence/MoD environment.
You’ll lead multidisciplinary teams, manage project delivery across cost, time and performance, and work closely with customers and stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and delivered.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams
- Deliver projects within agreed cost, time and performance targets
- Manage risks, opportunities, dependencies and project governance
- Work closely with customers to understand requirements and acceptance criteria
- Manage budgets, resources and project controls
- Monitor contract and supplier performance
- Identify lessons learned and drive continuous improvement
- Support the development of project management teams
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience leading and managing project teams
- Experience delivering semi-complex or multiple projects
- Strong stakeholder and customer management skills
- Experience managing cost, time, risk and project performance
- Defence/MoD experience would be highly relevant
- APM PMQ, MSP, PRINCE2 or similar is desirable
