A growing cloud and platform engineering consultancy is looking for experienced DV or EDV Cleared DevOps Engineers to support the delivery of secure, mission‑critical platforms across a range of complex programmes within the defence, national security, and government sectors.
This is a hands‑on role working within highly secure environments, helping engineering teams build, deploy, and operate modern cloud‑native infrastructure. You'll play a key role in designing scalable platforms, improving automation, and enabling reliable software delivery for projects that have real‑world impact.
Working across AWS and cloud‑native technologies, you'll utilise tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines to build resilient, production‑grade infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, build, and support secure cloud infrastructure and platform services
- Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform
- Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment efficiency and reliability
- Deploy and manage containerised workloads using Kubernetes
- Collaborate with software engineering and security teams to deliver cloud‑native solutions
- Implement monitoring, logging, and observability tooling
- Automate operational processes and platform management tasks
- Contribute to platform security, resilience, scalability, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Active DV Clearance or EDV Clearance (current and transferable)
- Strong experience in a DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Engineering role
- Hands‑on AWS experience in production environments
- Strong Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerised applications
- Strong understanding of CI/CD tooling and automation practices
- Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability solutions
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Experience working within secure or regulated environments is highly desirable
- Experience with GitOps methodologies
- Exposure to security‑focused engineering practices
- Knowledge of Linux administration and scripting
- Experience with multi‑account AWS environments
