Are you a CNC Online Programmer or similar, looking to join a long-established precision engineering subcontractor offering a flexible four-day working week, regular overtime and a modern workshop environment? Established over 50 years ago, this company is a well-established subcontract precision engineering business manufacturing high-quality components for customers across a wide range of industries. Operating from a newly refurbished facility, the business continues to expand and has built a reputation for quality, flexibility and long-term customer relationships.
For the right candidate, with familiarity to frequent, daily changes, this company will train on the operation of Turning Machines. Working on a variety of Doosan CNC lathes, you will be responsible for programming directly from customer PDF drawings, setting and operating machines, and producing high-quality precision components across a range of materials. This role would suit a CNC Programmer (Turner) who enjoys working in a busy subcontract environment where every day brings different parts, materials and machining challenges.
The Role:
- Programming, setting and operating
- Writing G-code directly at the machine from customer PDF engineering drawings
- Manufacturing components from one-off prototypes through to medium batch production
- Four-day working week (6:30am- 5:00pm or 7:00am- 5:30pm)
- Overtime paid at 1.5x available
