Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all post cast checks are carried out by conducting visual and measurement checks to finished units
- Ensure NCRs are raised in an accurate and timely manner.
- Ensure that vesting photographs are taken for all units produced.
- Ensure the accurate extent of finished is marked clearly and legibly on each panel.
- Work with other members of the Quality team and production personnel to reduce and eliminate non-conformances.
- Utilise technology i.e. QC tablets, in driving a more efficient working ethos.
- Responsible for the accurate creation and storage of QC records and drawings.
- Ensure you use Personal Protective Clothing and Equipment in a correct manner.
- Ensure that protective clothing and equipment are issued and used as appropriate.
Required Qualifications/Expertise
- 3rd Level qualification in Engineering/Construction desirable.
- Qualification in Lean Manufacturing (Yellow or Green Belt) desirable.
- Excellent computer literacy.
- 2+ years' experience operating in a similar role.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Analytical thinker with demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure, prioritise and plan effectively within a strict deadline environment.
