The Production Supervisor at TechPoint will lead a team of production operatives in the manufacture of electronic assemblies, PCBs and sub‑assemblies in a fast‑paced environment. They will ensure production targets are met in terms of quantity, cost, quality and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Organise and oversee daily operations to meet output, quality and delivery targets.
  • Allocate tasks to team members based on the production schedule and skill sets.
  • Ensure that all team members understand and follow work instructions, assembly procedures, and quality standards.
  • Act as the first point of contact for resolving issues.
  • Support training and development of operatives – coach new staff, reinforce best practices, and monitor performance.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and teamwork.
  • Report any delays, issues, or quality concerns to the Production Supervisor or relevant departments.
  • Ensure work areas are maintained to 5S standards – clean, organised, and safe at all times.
  • Ensure all timesheets are checked and approved.

About You

  • Prior experience in a production or assembly environment, preferably electronics.
  • Proven leadership or team coordination experience.
  • Strong understanding of production processes and quality standards.
  • Good communication skills – able to motivate team members and liaise with other departments.
